Mom and Dad came to Hannibal today. They brought us a ladder so we can get a tarp from Mike for the roof. Mike found the tarp and hopefully will bring it by sometime tomorrow so Joe can cover the roof. I sewed another pot holder and this one turned out really good. I added a 3rd layer of denim and lowered the pocket. The only problem with this one was that I broke 3 needles while sewing it!! I know, it's horrible! I need to get some jean needles but I'm pretty sure they don't sell them at Wal-Mart anymore. They have them in Quincy but I just need to get there. We're either going tomorrow or Friday so I'm excited!!!
Work was ok. While I was there, Joe had a meeting about his CRHP weekened at church. Cindy and the boys watched Nate. After the meeting Joe went to get Nate. When they were ready to leave, the car wouldn't start. So after work I took Charlene home and then had to go get the guys.
We stayed there for a bit. I showed off my pot holders and they all liked them. We had to roll Joe's car back to a different spot and then we were ready to leave. Nathan was still awake when we got home. Joe got him ready for bed and I brought him upstairs. He went to bed super easily!!
I'm thankful for Cindy & the boys for watching Nate!
