extended weekend blog.

I'm getting super bad about blogging. I'm missing way too many days and then once I think about blogging, it's been so long since I last blogged that I forget everything that happened. Oh well. We leave for WA state on Wed and I can guarantee that I won't be blogging everyday when there. (you already knew that tho!!)

Thursday I did water aerobics at the Y from 9-10am, had Parents as Teachers meeting at 11am, took Nate to Monroe afterwards, and then made it to work at 2 o'clock and 20 seconds. Roseanne at the front desk asked if I was working for someone cause I was there so early. She checks the schedule and I wasn't supposed to be there til 4 o'clock. Oy.... I picked up hours from 2-4 as I wasn't about to go home. Joe left to go to the farm at 9am-ish and worked til about 3 or 4pm-ish. They stayed for dinner at mom's until Nate got woken up from him nap and screamed for 30 minutes, or so I'm told.

Friday I skipped water aerobics as we went to Monroe with Joe. He worked on the farm again for about 3 1/2 hours. I noticed when I woke up that I had started my period. Ugh.. I haven't had a period in over 2 years. It sucks. As we were about to leave the house, Joe & I had a HUGE fight. We did a u-turn in the gas station parking lot and pulled the car over on the street next to the station. (we made it in front of the funeral home and that's as far as we got.) Joe walked home, got the keys to my car (we had his), and tried to drive off. I told him we're not taking 2 cars to MC. We ended up taking his car. I sewed the letters for 2 towels but only got 1 towel sewed. We stayed in Monroe until about 5:45pm-ish. Once we got home Joe went to Ultreya, a Catholic meeting. I worked on the other towel, didn't like the "e" on it, took it off, realized the thread I needed was in Monroe, sent Joe to get it at 11pm, finally finished the towel at about 12:30am. Whew.... went to bed. Then my cousin texted me and asked if he could sleep on our couch cause his ride left him in Hannibal.

Saturday we went to Quincy to take Sarah's mortgage money to the bank. After that we went to the mall. I had to see the eye people (I got shorted 1 left lens. They didn't have any left in stock there so she gave me 2 right. I'm cool with that.) I met Joe, Nate, & Josh (cousin) at Krieger's. A balloon guy was there and made Nate a really cool fishing pole & fish out of balloons. He loved it and played with it all day!! After lunch we went to the Resevoir Park. We love that park! We met a friend, her 2 girls, and 2 neighbor girls. I made towels for her 2 girls and they loved them! I told her $15 each but she gave me $20 each. I told her she didn't have to do that but she pretty much insisted. I'm cool with that! I just hope they really like them and get some good use out of them! (And maybe they know others that will want me to make them some!) After the park we stopped at Sam's for some samples and ice cream. A couple hours after we got home, we went to Ford & Charlene's for dinner. It was very good food & company. One day we'll learn to BBQ and invite them over. Maybe we'll have a deck by then!

Sunday morning we went to church. We sat in the back like always. Nate wasn't too bad to begin with but then he just wanted to run around everywhere. We had actually planned on sitting in the regular congregation but we didn't notice any seats available. Shortly after we got there, Joe got asked to help with the offertory. He had never helped with that before but he was happy to help. After mass I made a semi-big breakfast. Over easy eggs, home made hashbrowns, toast, & orange juice. Nathan ate everything! He was a hungry boy. We decided to get out for a bit and took a few laptops over to Bob's to have him look at them. They're all my sisters laptops or her kids. When we got there Bob said that mom & dad were on their way. We owed them $1000 for the roof so Joe got the money out and gave it to dad. Of course it was really nice having that money in our bank account, but that's one payback that we have already paid off! It feels good!! We were going to take Mom & Dad out to eat for Father's Day since we won't be here, but they had just eaten so we're taking them out Tuesday night. We ran some errands and then went to Gran Rio. After that we drove around for a bit and then went back home. I sewed the cover for Bob's bike and Joe did most of the dishes. I finished up the last little bit after I colored with Nate.

Monday: I went back to water aerobics but only stayed for 30 minutes. We are down to 1 car for right now and Nate had speech therapy at 10am. I got home and changed and then headed out the door to therapy. Nate didn't want to say anything today. He was on the floor and under the seats most of the time. I came home and wanted to take a short nap but then my alarm went off and I realized that I had a 1pm appt to get more antidepressents. We went to Wal-Mart to get the prescription filled and then came home. I was finally able to nap for an hour or so. I got up just in time to get to work at 4pm. It was boring but that's cool. One of the bosses gave me tomorrow off and I'm so thankful. We have so much to do to get ready to go to WA state on Wednesday. After work I came home and Nate was already in bed!!! Bob & Regina stopped by to get the bike cover. I've been playing Farkle on Facebook way too much tonight.

I really need to get to bed so I can start a very busy day tomorrow (actually today). I hope we get everything done that needs to be done. I will promise that I won't post every day when I'm in WA. If/when I do post, they won't be nearly this long and detailed. I should also be adding pictures but I'm not going to. Sorry. I'm kinda getting bored with trying to blog everyday. Hence why I'm not blogging but only a couple times a week.

I'm thankful for my family. I really do love and support everything Joe does and I'm so blessed to have him in my life. I'm so looking forward to visiting with family in WA & I'm excited about our early Father's Day dinner with my parents tomorrow!! I love you all!!!
