I'm a slacker.

So I know that I've been a slacker this week. Tuesday I didn't blog because Ford gave me permission not to blog. So instead of blogging that night, I folded 3 1/2 baskets of laundry and mated up lots of white socks. We finally have clean clothes in the drawers. I know, it's pathetic. Last night I came home after work and noticed a huge puddle of water in the middle of our bed. Yup, another leak! And earlier in the day I had washed & dryed the sheets and blanket and made the bed all nice and pretty. I pulled all the sheets back to dry and put the beach towel blanket over the wet mattress. We slept on the mattress and covered up with a larger towel. It sucked. That's why I didn't blog last night.

Here's today; no reason not to blog. Joe got up about 8am-ish and had a meeting with Fr. Mike about Communion. No idea what they actually talked about for an hour but oh well. Nate & I had breakfast on the porch while reading the mail. Ruso even got a little bit of breakfast as Nate spilled some of his cereal on the porch floor. Joe came home to change while I made him some lunch. He went to a farm to do some work. When he was gone we went to the YMCA. Nate was pretty good about being leftt the nursery there. It was probably just because right as we walked in, they had snack!! I did my mile all by myself! I think it took a couple extra minutes but not much more. Joe wasn't there to push me to go a bit faster. After the gym we came home.

Dad was working in the rental yard with all the tree parts that were dissected the other day. Dad, Joe, Bob, & Mike cut down a bunch of the trees in the yard as they were very near to the foundations to the house and the garage. Nate & I went down to help Dad. Nate walked around and kept trying to get in the street while I helped move all the tree parts from the side/middle yard to the very back of the yard. It was a pain in the tush. Nate really wanted to help saw some of the branches so he started dragging around Dad's big red saw. It's bigger than Nate. He was pulling it around and tripped over it. He now has a big scrape right above his eye brow. He cried for about 30 seconds and that was it. He's good now.

Dad left just before 2pm. Just before 3pm I got to babyskype Natalie. You're prolly wondering what in the world I'm talking about! Lisa made up the term "babyskype". Lisa had to get Luke from school but didn't want to wake Natalie. Natalie has been sick for a few days and was sleeping. Lisa & I were on Skype chatting back and forth and then Lisa asked if I wanted to babysit Natalie. Aiight, I guess. Lisa took her laptop back to her room and pointed the webcam right at Natalie. Don't worry, she's 9 and was just fine. I could have called Lisa if anything happened, but I was there to watch her and make sure nothing happened.

Work was pretty boring and slow tonight. I really wanted to sign the happy book but I didn't. We're broke! After work I finished off the steak that we had on Mother's Day. It was pretty tasty! Then I got the privilege of making the bed... again! I was going to call the employee line to maybe order a camera but decided to wait until tomorrow when I'm more coherent. I'm going to add some much needed pictures!

I'm thankful for Bob & Regina for helping with the roof and trees & for watching Nate!.
