I'm getting super bad about blogging. I'm missing way too many days and then once I think about blogging, it's been so long since I last blogged that I forget everything that happened. Oh well. We leave for WA state on Wed and I can guarantee that I won't be blogging everyday when there. (you already knew that tho!!)
Thursday I did water aerobics at the Y from 9-10am, had Parents as Teachers meeting at 11am, took Nate to Monroe afterwards, and then made it to work at 2 o'clock and 20 seconds. Roseanne at the front desk asked if I was working for someone cause I was there so early. She checks the schedule and I wasn't supposed to be there til 4 o'clock. Oy.... I picked up hours from 2-4 as I wasn't about to go home. Joe left to go to the farm at 9am-ish and worked til about 3 or 4pm-ish. They stayed for dinner at mom's until Nate got woken up from him nap and screamed for 30 minutes, or so I'm told.
Friday I skipped water aerobics as we went to Monroe with Joe. He worked on the farm again for about 3 1/2 hours. I noticed when I woke up that I had started my period. Ugh.. I haven't had a period in over 2 years. It sucks. As we were about to leave the house, Joe & I had a HUGE fight. We did a u-turn in the gas station parking lot and pulled the car over on the street next to the station. (we made it in front of the funeral home and that's as far as we got.) Joe walked home, got the keys to my car (we had his), and tried to drive off. I told him we're not taking 2 cars to MC. We ended up taking his car. I sewed the letters for 2 towels but only got 1 towel sewed. We stayed in Monroe until about 5:45pm-ish. Once we got home Joe went to Ultreya, a Catholic meeting. I worked on the other towel, didn't like the "e" on it, took it off, realized the thread I needed was in Monroe, sent Joe to get it at 11pm, finally finished the towel at about 12:30am. Whew.... went to bed. Then my cousin texted me and asked if he could sleep on our couch cause his ride left him in Hannibal.
Saturday we went to Quincy to take Sarah's mortgage money to the bank. After that we went to the mall. I had to see the eye people (I got shorted 1 left lens. They didn't have any left in stock there so she gave me 2 right. I'm cool with that.) I met Joe, Nate, & Josh (cousin) at Krieger's. A balloon guy was there and made Nate a really cool fishing pole & fish out of balloons. He loved it and played with it all day!! After lunch we went to the Resevoir Park. We love that park! We met a friend, her 2 girls, and 2 neighbor girls. I made towels for her 2 girls and they loved them! I told her $15 each but she gave me $20 each. I told her she didn't have to do that but she pretty much insisted. I'm cool with that! I just hope they really like them and get some good use out of them! (And maybe they know others that will want me to make them some!) After the park we stopped at Sam's for some samples and ice cream. A couple hours after we got home, we went to Ford & Charlene's for dinner. It was very good food & company. One day we'll learn to BBQ and invite them over. Maybe we'll have a deck by then!
Sunday morning we went to church. We sat in the back like always. Nate wasn't too bad to begin with but then he just wanted to run around everywhere. We had actually planned on sitting in the regular congregation but we didn't notice any seats available. Shortly after we got there, Joe got asked to help with the offertory. He had never helped with that before but he was happy to help. After mass I made a semi-big breakfast. Over easy eggs, home made hashbrowns, toast, & orange juice. Nathan ate everything! He was a hungry boy. We decided to get out for a bit and took a few laptops over to Bob's to have him look at them. They're all my sisters laptops or her kids. When we got there Bob said that mom & dad were on their way. We owed them $1000 for the roof so Joe got the money out and gave it to dad. Of course it was really nice having that money in our bank account, but that's one payback that we have already paid off! It feels good!! We were going to take Mom & Dad out to eat for Father's Day since we won't be here, but they had just eaten so we're taking them out Tuesday night. We ran some errands and then went to Gran Rio. After that we drove around for a bit and then went back home. I sewed the cover for Bob's bike and Joe did most of the dishes. I finished up the last little bit after I colored with Nate.
Monday: I went back to water aerobics but only stayed for 30 minutes. We are down to 1 car for right now and Nate had speech therapy at 10am. I got home and changed and then headed out the door to therapy. Nate didn't want to say anything today. He was on the floor and under the seats most of the time. I came home and wanted to take a short nap but then my alarm went off and I realized that I had a 1pm appt to get more antidepressents. We went to Wal-Mart to get the prescription filled and then came home. I was finally able to nap for an hour or so. I got up just in time to get to work at 4pm. It was boring but that's cool. One of the bosses gave me tomorrow off and I'm so thankful. We have so much to do to get ready to go to WA state on Wednesday. After work I came home and Nate was already in bed!!! Bob & Regina stopped by to get the bike cover. I've been playing Farkle on Facebook way too much tonight.
I really need to get to bed so I can start a very busy day tomorrow (actually today). I hope we get everything done that needs to be done. I will promise that I won't post every day when I'm in WA. If/when I do post, they won't be nearly this long and detailed. I should also be adding pictures but I'm not going to. Sorry. I'm kinda getting bored with trying to blog everyday. Hence why I'm not blogging but only a couple times a week.
I'm thankful for my family. I really do love and support everything Joe does and I'm so blessed to have him in my life. I'm so looking forward to visiting with family in WA & I'm excited about our early Father's Day dinner with my parents tomorrow!! I love you all!!!

Weekend at the Lake!!
I got up Friday and went to the gym. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill at about 3.4 - 3.8 speed but I don't remember the incline. Later that day we decided to go to Lake of the Ozarks with my sister and her boys to stay with another sister at their condo. Joe was working on the farm so we left with Laura & the boys at about 1pm. We got there and soon went shopping. Joe worked until almost 8pm, got lost getting back to mom & dad's (regular road was closed for repairs, had to detour to who knows where), and then started his drive the Lake. Oh and what a drive it was!!! He got so very lost and we kept trying to help him get on the right track but he kept driving and kept getting more lost. At one point he asked me "Am I supposed to be on a dirt road?" Umm... NO!!! Later on in regards to getting lost he said "Well I'll worry about that later!!!" Oy va!! He finally made it to the Lake just after midnight. The first thing he did was pee and then he got some food. He REFUSED to stop for directions multiple times. BOYS!!!!!

Saturday Joe & Joe went to the boat store. Later on most of us did a lot of shopping and I got a really cool pair of shoes. They are water shoes and very comfortable. We went swimming later on and Nate loved it! He didn't like it too much when we went to the deep end tho. I don't really know what else we did early on but Lisa & her Joe went on a date and that's when we went swimming. Later on instead of shopping with Laura again, Joe & I went on a date. We went to Culver's for dinner and ice cream. We sat on the patio and just sat there and watched the cars go by. It was so nice to get away even just an hour.

Sunday we got up early and got all excited to get on the boat. Well the boat had problems so my brother-in-law Joe went to the boat store and spent a lot of the morning working on the boat. I downloaded a bunch of songs to put on Laura's new MP3 Player. The boat took longer to fix than expected to fix so we went to play putt putt gold instead. Afterwards we went to Culver's for lunch. We FINALLY got to go on the boat!! Towards the end of the boat ride and everyone getting to go tubing, Joe got his turn. He had never been tubing before and he LOVED it!! He did flip a couple times but he still loved it. After the 2nd flip, he was done and it was then my turn. I didn't flip it, which was very good because I forgot to wear a life jacket. After the boat, Laura & her boys left and about an hour later we left. Joe drove home so he could get a better feel for the roads. He did just fine. Once we got to Monroe he made me finish driving.

Today I got up early and went to water aerobics at the Y. It was from 9am - 10am. It went over pretty good and I hope to make it to the class every day, Monday - Friday. Once I got home, I rested and had an egg sandwich and then I started mowing both our yard and the rental yard. At 10am, Joe took Nate to Speech Therapy. He said he did ok but I'm not sure. I was trying to get some sewing done but forgot that all my thread and bobbins are in Monroe. Ugh... Just before I left for work, Joe noticed a tick on Nate's back. We tried to get it removed but couldn't so we took him to the walk-in clinic to get it removed. They got the tick out and then Nate went to Monroe for the evening. He's spending the night there so we get a night alone!!!

We went to Sonic and got some late night foods and I also got a Lime Limeaid!! Very good!!
I'm thankful for my life!!

Nate's sickness.
So my blogs have been very scarce lately.
Nate has been sick (thank God he was better by the weekend!) with an ear infection. We had him at the ER last Monday and they said to go in for a follow-up on Wed or Thursday. We got him in Thursday morning with Dr. Bubolz (after 35 minutes on the treadmill with speeds between 3.4 - 3.8 & incline of between 2.0 - 4.0). If you know him and like him, I'm sorry, but we do NOT like him! He never seems to be interested in what we tell him is going on with Nathan and he always has something bad to say about the ER. I may not like taking him to the ER because we're usually there for awhile, but I don't talk smack about them. I think that's very unethical for a Dr. to be saying bad things about other Dr's. He tell us that Nate's ears look great and it was "probably not even an ear infection. You know those guys over there, always diagnosing & treating everything with an antibiotic." I think that's kind of rude. I told him "Well we have Medicaid for Nate so no matter where we are having him seen, it doesn't cost us anything."
Oh well, Nate is much better now (he hasn't thrown up since Friday but still had diarrhea til Saturday) and that's all we're worried about. Doc said to give him food & about an ounce of a sugary liquid (for the carbs) ever 15 minutes or so. We did that and he's good now. Nate prolly enjoyed it because Joe kept giving him Kool-Aid and suckers!!

Memorial Day.
I know I've been slacking.. and more than just with my blog. I didn't go to the YMCA at all last week. I haven't been sewing as much either (I did mend a couple things but nothing like I usually do).
We've been busy on the rental house. I worked for a few hours on the back porch sorting threw all the craft stuff. There was a whole lot of nasty trash but there was also a lot of good stuff to put in the yard sale. There was lots of poo but I had the radio on and ignored what I was sifting thru. I would have puked otherwise. Work on Friday sucked but at least I got an extra 5 hours in.
I don't remember what we did on Saturday. I got some mending done but not sure what else was done. Joe just reminded me that we went to Twain on Main that afternoon. We took a walk later on in the evening and ended up at Cassano's for dinner close to 9pm. Nate wasn't in the best mood so we didn't finish dinner there. We went down easy so Joe & I finished eating.
Sunday after church at Presbyterian we went for a walk again. We left the car in the lot an went to Mike's shop to help Lisa, Joe, Luke, & Dad unload the UHaul. After that we loaded the stroller in Mike's truck and all of us plus Mike (minus Dad) went to lunch Rumor Has It. It was very good!! We walked around Twain on Main a little more and then walked 6 blocks to get the car at church. Then off to Monroe for the rest of the day. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun played in the sprinkler at Grandma's & Grandpa's. We had an awesome day until after Nate went to bed. He was sleeping for half hour or so and then he started throwing up in his bed. Joe took a quick shower with Nate to clean him off. He got a fresh diaper and was back in bed after falling back to sleep in our bed.
Happy Memorial Day!! Thank you to all the military people who have served/are serving this country. Shortly after 11am-ish we left the house to go to Monroe. We made it around the block before Nate started throwing up. We made a U turn back home to get some clean clothes. He thought it best to hand the rest of his banana to Daddy. We stopped at Walgreen's to get more meds & some Pedialite. Just after 1/2 way to Monroe, Nate throws up again. What fun!! Also on the way there, I called and got a Landing pass for me. Nate gets in free and Joe won't go enough times to justify getting a pass. Nate was very fussy & whiny all day. We finally left about 7:45pm-ish and went straight to the ER. There for 1 1/2 hours and Nate has a double ear infection. Soon as we got home we went to sleep. Didn't cry or fuss or whine or anything. I was very happy! Our internet on the laptop sucks so I'm gonna head outta here.
I'm thankful for the staff at the ER for making Nate feel better (even tho he didn't like the shots!)

What a day.
I'm trying to get back in the swing of blogging every night. We'll see how I do. Nate was warm when I first held him this morning. Laura then called to tell me that Logan now has strep throat. It started with him having a fever. Well we didn't measure his temperature, mainly because I never remember too. He took a shower fine without screaming but noticed he didn't eat much breakfast. He wanted juice all day!
We worked on the rental house for a little bit. (When I say "we", I mean Joe worked on it while Nate & I looked around.) Joe pulled up most of the carpet in the house and now the nasty smell is coming back. It's so gross. Nate & I took a break to go to Speech Therapy & he did so good today! He said "open!!!" It took him a couple times but he got it!! Later on in the day he said "Juice please" and "please mom." Now of course the words didn't come out clear like that but I knew exactly what he said!! It's awesome!!!

After therapy we came back and Dad put Nate on the riding mower with him. Nate usually loves it but not so much today. He cried and got a sad puppy face so I had to get him off. We came home and made lunch (turns out we just made strawberry shortcakes but Nate didn't eat anything) and then Laura and the boys stopped by. Her & I went to the rental house to see what crafty stuff will be worth saving to sell in a big yard sale. There's so much stuff left in that house and we're just gonna sell as much as we can and then get rid of the rest! If you are or know someone that wants to do crafty things, come to our yard sale in the summer!!!
Once she left I made pork burgers for lunch. I had all the good stuff to add to it: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard. It was very good!!! Nate had a tiny burger but didn't eat it. Whoops, it was good too!!! I did get a little bit of sewing in today. I mended 2 pair of jeans. It's not much but it was nice to be at the machine. And I didn't break any needles either!!
Work was pretty boring; slow but that's aiight. While at work, I found that Nate threw up. Poor little guy. Charlene & I left early as it was super slow. I dropped her off and home and then up the hill I went to come home. Or so I thought. I got almost to the top and the car won't go anymore. I push the gas and it doesn't do anything. I coasted down the hill while calling Ford. I got to the very bottom and he takes over the wheel. He got it going on the 2nd try. Up the hill and around the block he goes.

I get in the car again and start up the hill. Same thing but this time I stop at the top of the hill and call him. He & Brian come to my rescue. Ford gets in the car and goes the rest of the way up the hill and around the block and parks it in his driveway. I go with Brian in the truck back to the house. We all go inside and I get dinner. Brat, mac n cheese, and salad (very good by the way.) Ford went to check my car and then came back upstairs and told me that I could either try to make it home and leave my car stranded wherever it stopped, or I could just get a ride from him and leave my car in the driveway. I chose option B and made it home ok.
Joe got a brat when I got home. I've been blogging and chatting with my peeps (as Joe calls them). Now he wants strawberry shortcake so I better end this.
I'm thankful for Ford, Brian, & Charlene for helping me out with my car situation. Thanks guys!!

oyyy...
Why do I never want to blog anymore? I get home from work and come up to bed but Facebook takes up much of my time. Oy...
Laura brought the boys over this morning around 9am-ish. We had breakfast, played on the porch, fed the birds, played in the backyard, tried to nap in the backyard, played more on the front porch, and then played inside for a bit. We had strawberry shortcake and drank root beer. Logan also called my sister Lisa and pranked her a couple times. It was very harmless and he loved it. Lisa also got a kick out of it! Laura picked up the boys and then headed home.

Shortly after the boys got there, Joe left to go help on the farm. He also got some sunscreen from Dollar General and dropped off strawberries at Ian's. After the boys left Nate & I had lunch. Well I had lunch and Nate got up and played. We took a short walk and he loved it! Ford wanted me to take Charlene to work by 4. I took Nate to Monroe so they could watch him until Joe got back from the farm. While there, Charlene told me on Facebook (big shocker that I was on there!!!) that I didn't need to take her to work. Cool, no problem.

Joe got back to Mom's about 4pm-ish and I left there at about 4:20pm-ish. I had to get my stuff from home and then head to work. Work was super boring and the computers were super slow. Joe & Nate walked to the park in Monroe and then came home at about 9:15pm-ish. Here I am, been off work since 10pm and just now writing my blog. Damn Facebook.
I'm thankful for Nathan who keeps me going everyday!!

Still slacking.
I know I've been really bad about blogging lately. I get so super tired at night that I usually fall asleep at the computer. My laptop also makes a lot of very loud noises and I'm really not liking it much these days. Oh well.

We spent most of the weekend in Monroe City. We came home every night but went back. My sister Lisa and her family are moving back to Monroe soon and have been looking for a place to rent. They're pretty sure they've found a place but we'll see. It was a pretty good weekend. Friday Joe worked on the farm and got a check!! WAHOO!!! We went to the food pantry and got lots of stuff. It rained like crazy while we were there. We had Nate with us but Joe took him back to Mom & Dad's and then came back. He was being bad; well just being 2. Since we didn't make it to the Y, Sarah & I walked/jogged 1.3 miles. Saturday we worked around the house for a little bit and then off to Monroe for the day/evening again. Again we got home late and then to bed later. Sunday at church Nate was just horrible. We were in the cry room in the back and he just screamed and wanted to run everywhere! Once he got out of the cry room and then made his way out to the load/unload area. Luckily there were no cars going thru there. Don't worry, Joe was about 2 feet behind him. I was ready to leave church early but we didn't. Shortly after we got in the car he fell asleep. We drove around for a little bit and then decided to head to Monroe again. Laura was making a big breakfast for everyone so we stopped at C&R to get some bacon, milk, & bread. We all just hung out for awhile. I finally got Mom's scanner to work and then she made a roast dinner. Joe was a little upset about something so he left and went for a walk. A little bit later Nate & I left took off on a walk to join Joe. We ended up going to the park. Nate LOVED it!!

Finally on Monday's events. Mom called and said they were coming down and had Beau with them. Beau is my 4 1/2 year old nephew for those that don't know. We went to the rental house and did a little bit of work and got to look in the attic. It's all open and clean (needs flooring and a way up) but it could be a bedroom. It more than likely won't get turned into one, but it could be used for storage. When it was time for Speech Therapy I took Beau along with me & Nate. Beau had no trouble talking but Nate wanted nothing to do with it. Oh well, we try. Work was pretty boring. The computers were going super slow and keep clocking. Fine by me if they wanna pay me to sit while I have to reboot the computer 4 or 5 times a night. Once I got home I made some awesome sundaes!! Strawberry & banana chunks in the bottom of a tall dessert glass. I then layered neapalitin ice cream, more banana & strawberry chunks and topped with whipped topping and more chunks! Next time I'll add sprinkes! I'm super tired so I'm heading to bed!! Good night!!!

I'm thankful to have a job!! (I don't remember writing that.) I'm thankful that Lexus was able to babysit for us!
